Alitum 14 CAMtastic errors
« on: November 06, 2017, 07:18:53 pm »
Hi,

I'm working on a design (excuse messy areas) and was curious as to what the final gerber outputs would look like. I went through Alitum 14's Gerber generator and viewed the top copper layer (.GTL) in CAMtastic. However I notice that it seems to have duplicated other component layers, such as top silkscreen, on this layer too! I noticed that this only occurred on layers built using the IPC compliant wizard tool. I've attached an example below.

Is this a simple rendering bug? I've noticed the viewer isn't terribly great. Or is this a 'real' problem?

Many thanks for your time help, I appreciate it very much.

Uh, well, didja check the library if it actually looks like that or what? ???  'Cuz once it's generated, it's just another library.

I've just figured it out... Should've held fire on the forum post... Apologies.

Turns out I shouldn't asked it to plot mechanical layers. Everything looks good now.

Thanks for the reply all the same T3sl4co1l.
