Altium 15 Design views, how can I get it to work?

Hello all,
 I am trying to add a design view (Zoomed in detail of the PCB) to my PCB. I go through the process (Place -> design view -> define area -> set layers -> OK) and nothing appears on the document. What am I doing wrong?

In 2D view do Ctrtl+D and make sure Show Design Views is enabled.
