Altium dragging component while holding Ctrl reversed?

I've been updated to Altium 17 an I've noticed that the behaviour when dragging an schematic component has been reversed, now it defaults to keeping wires connected and moves with disconnection if left Ctrl is pressed. Is it possible to switch it back?

 preferences ->Schematic ->graphical editing
in the options column. 'always drag'  (12 or 13 item in list ) : uncheck that.

17 also has altered the selection. when making a selection from top left to bottom right : select only items that are fully inside.
when making selection from bottom left to top right : select anything touching. the way Solidworks does it
