altium gerber export error
« on: January 30, 2015, 08:16:49 pm »
Hi guys,

I have been unsuccessful in exporting a working gerber from altium designer.

While the nc drill files and the board outline are fine, the bottom and top layer gerber have copper anywhere and no traces.
There is something awfully wrong with it and i can't figure out what.

in the attachments: the bottom layer gerber re-imported in altium.

do you have any idea what might be wrong?
Thanks guys!

Hi ..

I had unzipped and opened the PCB file with Altium Designer 14.1.5

File opened happily and exported the Gerbers and drill file equally happily.

I looked at the Gerbers with Graphicode power station, a CAM package  could not see any issue at first glance.

Your Gerbers... enjoy

Thank you very much.

I found the problem. i was re-exporting the camtastic file, while the gerber was alredy been generated in the project outputs folder.
