How do you create mechanical layer pairs on Altium 18?

View Configuration (L), "Layers & Colors" tab, In the "Component Layer Pairs" Section, right click -> "Add Component Layer Pair".

I'm not sure how to delete a layer pair, though.  It looks like you have to remove all primitives first and then delete the layers?  That seems silly.
