An annoying problem with grids and object pins in the schematic

I use Altium 18.1.9

My problem is that with a fresh document and default settings, some components (PINs) are not matched with the grid, it means no straight line can connect them. very annoying. I had not this problem with the older versions. I use default libraries.

The Edit -> Align To Grid does not help.

Can you manually edit the X/Y position in the component properties?  Are the active ends of the other pins aligned to the grid?

Yes, some Pins are aligned and some pins are not. for example the transistor above, Base Pin is not aligned. also, some components are aligned and some not.

Anyone can try this. create a new schematic document (everything default) and pick up a transistor from the default libraries. You can not align all pins to the grids at the same time!
actually, this can be tested with any component that its pins are not straight aligned such as a resistor, a diode ...
try headers, Potentiometer, mosfet, transistor and similar ...

Sounds like your component and schematic do not agree in terms of grid size/type. To get around this make sure that the grid units agree in both, as in both are at imperial or metric. Once you have that sorted make sure that pins are on that grid, as in you might have to move them around

when in scematic push on the "g"button that toggles the grid selection.. sometimes that will help with alignment
