Probably because they have much broader target audiences than Altium, but I also would like to have an Altium book, nothing beats paper .

it ain't gonna be an altium book... it's a book about pcb design (note :design, not just 'layout' ). sure i will be using altium but you won't know unless i leave in screenshots with titlebar visible.

Ha ha yea I saw all of those. Funny. Apparently English speaking people dont use Altium. Or we dont need books to learn it. ;)

I'm amazed (not in a good way) there are no books for altium in English  |O

Is it the case that there is no real market for Altium outside China?

It is a bit strange that there are no books for AD, there is a huge market for Altium outside of China.

Whilst there are a ton of resources on the Altium website, the best way it to trawl through the program and learn, but I have to admit, a book would have helped, bit late for me now though, been using it for several years.

Hello guys, I'm aware that it is an aged discussion, but the issue remains seemingly unanswered.
Would anyone have any update on this ( I mean, some book wrote in English ) ?

I think Altium don't want them, because training can be a big part of their revenues...

Such as 'certificate', a license driver for layout designer operate their powerful tool...
Anyway, it is amazing that no one so far has not even translated into English any of those Chinese versions  :-DD. Although there are Altium Designer’s manuals available in PDF, there are many, and each one dedicated to some aspect of the tool, which could eventually be synthesized in a single book, and I particularly I prefer a traditional printed version.

Are there a comprehensive list of them somewhere? I would like to convert it to epub if it's easy and put it in my ereader.

I'm going to try AD after learning Cadence (homework requierements), I'm somewhat masochistic!
