Assembly guide/drawings
« on: November 27, 2012, 10:40:04 pm »
Hi,

I usually have a computer next to me when assembling my boards, in order to look up component values and positions on the pcb. Is it possible in altium to create a printed "hand assembly" guide with say all 100nF caps highlighted on one page, all caps of another value highlighted on another, and so on?

How do you guys do it, when assembling prototypes?

/Jonas

you can make a plot that shows the values. as for making plots that show specific values highlighted .. don;t know. i know this was a feature in orcad.
