Disappearing Tracks
« on: January 03, 2017, 07:17:54 pm »
Good afternoon Sirs,

I am finalizing a PCI, and would like to do a "finishing" between the tracks and the tracks.

Similar to the attached photo.

What I would like to do: Add two semi-arcs on each side of the trail.

It turns out that when I put a side, OK. When I add the other side, it deletes the previous one.

I have already disabled the "Automatically Remove Loops" function in the "Interactive Routing Options".

I put a link from a Youtube video to exemplify what is happening.

Kind regards,

Altium is doing this as there is already a connecting track in the circuit.

Turning on the teardrop function (as suggested by langwadt above) is the best way to do it (you can adjust the parameters of the teardrops to what you want).

But if you really want to do it manually, left click on the curved track to select it, then right click on the highlighted track & select "Properties" then tick the "Locked" dialog box.
I also sat between Elvis & Bigfoot on the UFO.

If you want the easy way .. as everybody says its use Altium Teardrop option... from Altium 2015 I think Teardrop have much more option and more powerful. If you really want hardware take your routing tool and hit tab and uncheck remove loops option and there you have it....  :box:

Thats all

Guys,

This is what I need. I did not know about this tool. I saw in the PCBs and thought it was manual. I did it through the tool, and it stayed the way I would.

Thank you again for your help.
