I have a pin in paste connector that will be part of the reflow assembly. So i want to open the paste mask over the PTH on the connector but i cant get Altium to do this for me  |O.  Anyone knows how to do this....

Update:

I solved it temporary with drawing an arc over the holes on the paste layer, but I would prefer to have this feature as automatic rule/setting to avoid bulk copy paste errors when you have multi pin connectors.

in AD18 you have the option to change the size, in older versions just double click on the pad & check it's properties

Hi,

Seems like Altium wont create a paste mask expansion for PTH. And there is no option to choose if it shall be on top or bottom layer.

It may be better to draw the paste mask manually in the footprint.  Also, I don't think you want to have the paste mask open over the through-hole anyway, do you?  I expect that would lead to poorly-controlled solder quantity (both because some will get squished down into the hole, and the paste in/over the hole will tend to get pushed out when the pin is inserted).

Yes I do, the connectors are "Pin in paste " or also known as "Through-hole reflow" (THR).
