How to select multiple pads easily

Hi,
I want to select some pads like dragging a rectangle to select them and use Interactively route multiple connections, But It seems the selection box does not allow me, and I should select all the pins one by one, do we have something in aid?

If you want to avoid the popup box thingy, lock the component (right-click on it, or set its property any other way).
Unfortunately the built-in select won't do non-free pads. You could query it, maybe even write a script to make a mouse-driven InRegion query command that's more powerful than select, but yeah, more effort to figure it out.

Try to keep the Ctrl-Key pressed while dragging the rectangle.

Edit > Select > Toggle Selection
now you can click on each pad w/o shift/crtl key
