multiple chip pins with same output compiler error
« on: June 04, 2018, 01:16:30 pm »
Hi all, well, I have a problem in Altium, I'm designing a raspberry pi hat, and I'm using an automotive Quad high-side switch as power outputs. The high-side switch use 4 pins for a single power output and in the schematic, I just join them together (as in picture attached), but Altium complains when I compile the project. I can live with that error, but for sake of a pristine job, I want to solve it properly.

thanks in advance,

JP

If works, doesn't means it is right.

Altium compains when there are multiple output pins on one net. Change pins to passive or change the rules.

Pin output is assumed to be push-pull, so hence the error.

Change pin to passive as has been suggested.

Cheers
