Net Classes
« on: July 15, 2018, 06:40:27 pm »
Hi

If I make net classes on PCB, when i make "import change from schematic", the process delete me classes.
I can"remove check at process, but it is easy for me to forget in the future.

Is there a way to avoid it?

Place a net class directive in your schematic (Place->Directives->Net Class).

https://www.altium.com/documentation/18.0/display/ADES/((Specifying+Design+Requirements+with+Design+Directives))_AD#!SpecifyingDesignRequirementswithDesignDirectives-NetClassDirective

I can not add that symbol on the scheme, I have to do too many types of classes.
I should put 200 symbols

I followed these instructions:
https://resources.altium.com/pcb-design-blog/identifying-minimum-trace-spacing-and-trace-requirements-in-altium

Is not there another way ?

as a quick work around, when updating from schematic to PCB remove the checkmarks were it says remove net class... this way you can keep working..
not a solution to your porblem..

also thinking a bout it, if there is some room, you can add a blanket over the netlabels you wnat to include and then add one directive to it...
but if you have a GND or power connection withtin the blanket it will add those too.. so keep that in mind..
