One panel, multiple boards
« on: August 06, 2016, 08:57:03 pm »
Hey Guys

I have a project that will contain 4 different PCB boards.  I have the boards laid out in different altium projects, my question is how can I panelize the different boards into one panel?  If that's even possible.

Create a new PCBdoc, Place->Embedded Board Array.  Arrays can be 1x1, so a single board.  The embedded array is linked to the source file, so if you make a change it will automatically update the panel.

Well I found one company who will charge $57 USD for 5 panels, each panel with 4 designs.  That's pretty reasonable to me, I don't know where I could get it any cheaper.  Thanks for the tip on how to the panelize the boards, worked great.

May be Embedded Board Array (Panelize) will work.
