AC to DC power supply with multiple outlets?

Hi All.

I'm thinking about building a power supply for something I'm working on. I have been looking around online and I've find lots of basic info for AC-DC conversion for supplying one, or maybe two outputs. But what if I want to have a number of different outputs, each with different voltage and current requirements. I haven't found much that describes how this designed.

To add more would one simply have to increase the size of the transformer and add the necessary outputs using the correct voltage regulators per the output's requirements.

If someone knows of a link where this has been described please share.

I've so often needed two or three different voltages when working on projects, often just playing around with two different existing components which need different voltages.

Recently bought an inexpensive 0-30 volt variable voltage variable current supply.

To go along with that, I found several different (multiple voltage) supplys at MPJA, each for under $10.  I'm going to stack them in a project box (with appropriate mounting of course) with perhaps 8 different banana jacks on the outside, each with a different voltage, with a separate ground for each different supply.  Naturally, these days almost anything you find will have a higher current rating on +5 volts, just the way it is.

I just don't always like to reinvent the wheel where there are so many different wheels out there.
