How do you tell if the eBay listings that state Agilent or Fluke are real?
I am looking for a good set of leads for my 3457DMM and saw these listed but I have been burned quite often with Chinese junk being sent instead of what is advertised..

The best probes I've ever used have been from probemaster.com -- it's all they do (probes of various sorts), made in the USA, high quality. Buying from eBay -- well, it doesn't matter what it says or what the photo is, they can still send you junk.

The probes received with my U1233A are very similar (not the other accessories) and they are good quality ones.

Oh, the "whys" of the datasheets... The information is there not to be an axiomatic truth, but instead each speck of data must be slowly inhaled while carefully performing a deep search inside oneself to find the true metaphysical sense...

Probes in eBay pictures look genuine. Packaging is very similar to what comes with new Agilent DMM in the box. I haven't seen those hook adapters, though, but they look okay to me.
Probes are of good quality. My only issue with them is size - I would like them to a bit smaller and less bulky.
