Another What's this component question
« on: June 30, 2015, 05:53:47 am »
Hi all

I'm currently trying to fix a bit of test gear that is too noisy, I thinks that I have track it down to the voltage ref or the filtering on it output.

The Vref is a LT1021-7 in a negative output configuration with a 100nF ceramic and the unknown cap in the pics, the marking are 10M8 16VF

Am I correct in thinking that this is a 10uF 16V Solid Tantalum?

thanks

Ketil

That sounds reasonable, did you try and check the capacitor with an LCR meter?
