any differences between pic 18Fxxxx??

hello,,does the PIC 18F4550 have any difference with the 18F2220?
by that i mean ,the way to program it,,do they all have the same commands? for the 18F only

For the most part, I believe they share the same instruction set, although they are obviously different microelectronics, both 18F, and a quick skin over the datasheet leads me to believe that you can treat them as the same (save the difference maximum clock frequency, and different peripherals).

Most code in 'C' these days which means one doesn't really have to know the instruction set, I'm surprised if you were using assembly for it.
