Hello, thanks for having such a great resource. I am quite green when it comes to the electronics side of things and have realized that with such little knowledge its hard to approach people who are knowledgeable and be taken seriously. When googling the hardware and software options this forum keeps popping up so i figured i could ask a few questions here to get myself going in the proper direction.

My goal is to have a piece of equipment that can be controlled remotely via a web page similar to (http://runmyrobot.com/) without being public. It will need to stream some data numerical data as well as video but the frame rate doesn't need to be more than say 5fps.  If the data connection is lost id like the equipment to function on its own autonomously. This is basically a robot for locating hot spots.

Hardware
Nvidea Jetson TX2 DevKit
3X FLIR Boson 320 × 256 (or possibly Lepton 160X120) connected via USB
/\ I assume the Jetson can handle these cameras through USB? Hoping to get a panoramic view of the horizon.
3X Motor Driver 15A IRF7862PBF
     /\ connected via GPIO's
4g USB stick from (T-mobile, AT&T, Verison, etc)
USB Hub
15X 0-3.3V data sensors

Software
Ubuntu, Python 3, and Open CV

The jetson is listed as having 4bit GPIO not real sure what this means. An unboxing video quotes "40 GPIO pins" IIRC. If i need more GPIO's can i just add an Arduino, or Beagle Bone?

Am I on the right track? Im currently working my way through some Python, and Open CV tutorials and i feel like this combo will at least get me going until i can hire a programmer to make everything  really work well together and add features with time.

I really appreciate everyone's time,
Grant
