Investigating, I discovered that all the missing components are SMD ceramic capacitors 0603, looking some charts in google found that them can have a value from 10pf to .47uf, which leads me to my question
how do I determine the value of a SMD ceramic capacitor? luckily I have access to a working video card of the same model and brand, where I can measure the capacitors that the other one have missing, but just like in the card that I repaired a few days ago THERE ARE NO DIAGRAMS
, so my only hope is to be able to measure existing capacitors.
My only tools are a Chinese soldering iron MXN$80 (the ugliest and cheapest) and a 535-339 radox multimeter MXN$300, but this GTX 1060 6Gb card worth it (approximate value of MXN$5000) so I bought a USB microscope to make repairs on the broken tracks and pads (incredible that I found in mercadolibre one for MXN$350 although it seems to work only 3 times, according to youtube reviews it serves the purpose).
