Bandpass question?
« on: June 27, 2012, 07:01:00 pm »
if you have multiple signals aka bass mid and treble - how to do amplify them after? can they all be  amplified through a single op amp - after they have been filtered? or do I just connect them all at the end of to amplify them - as I am design a basic audio amplifier based around the 741 and I'm just have a harder time I'll post my schematic by tomorrow. And the audio input does it have to be passed through a capacitor?

thanks nick

The filter section of an opamp is always in the feedback loop, if you want to think the voltage hasn't got much gain,
strap another opamp on the output of the first opamp

That might be where you need to stop and rethink, the 741 is not going to be great
