Exterior-wise, the difference between the Beckman Industrial 9020 and the Beckman Industrial Circuitmate 9020 is that the Circuitmate is RS branded (the front panel layout is exactly the same). You're right that there's absolutely nothing about the non-Circuitmate version... weird.

There's virtually no difference between the two front panels other than the colour scheme, except that the power LED for the Circuitmate is slightly shifted upwards...

the question is : are they the same oscilloscopes with different cosmetics ? or not the same with quite the same cosmetics ?
actually, i don't care about the color of my "nearly-next" oscillo, but what 's inside and how it works matters ;-)

and, otherwise, what about the choise between the hameg 203 and the beckman 9020 ?
does anybody know these items ?
please, give me advice. thx

I would think they are almost the same unit.
A few of the switches are different, like toggles instead of sliders.

I would also suggest that they aren't really made by Beckman,as they look a lot like some of the "Digitech" stuff.
That said,a delayed timebase 'scope can be very useful.

On the other hand,Hameg have a very good reputation in EU,so may be a better bet.
Not so well known in Oz,though a previous employer of mine had some & they were nice to use.

"RS"?----In UK & Oz,it means a company called "RS Components",who do often have special versions of various manufacturer's products----they don't normally use an "in-house" name like some others do.

In the USA,"RS" is more likely to mean "Radio Shack"(better known in some other countries as "Tandy's").

I'm a little dubious about the delayed timebase.

I assumed it was like a Tektronix one, where you have dual timebases,& can delay "A" timebase,by "B",so as to look at a small time interval on a signal by delaying the onset of triggering of the fast TB with the slow one.

This doesn't seem quite the same,& may not be as useful.
The guy on Youtube  brushed past it,without any demonstration of how it is used.

I would choose the Hameg HM203-6 without any doubt.
It is easier to repair, has very good triggering and quality of Hameg products.
But if you are not in a hurry, look for a good working HM605.
It is one of the best Hameg analog scopes, far better than HM203-6.
