Yes, americanradiohistory is nice http://www.americanradiohistory.com/ - the basics never change - discrete, opamp etc. Look up Practical Electronics, Electronics Today UK, Wireless World, etc.

There are only two available in the UK now (excluding Practical Wireless if you want RF/ham stuff), that's EPE and Elektor. Your best bet is to look at their websites - or more usefully, nip into WH Smiths and flick though the current issues.

Saelig tossed a copy of both "Circuit Cellar" and "Nuts and Volts" in my last order.  They had sent me a "Circuit Cellar" in a previous order so I have checked out a couple issues.

I found "Circuit Cellar" a little too advanced for my interests right now but I enjoyed the "Nuts and Volts" issue and am considering subscribing.  Worth a look IMO.

Not a magazine but a lot of electronic circuits......you must have !!!!!

Look on Internet for : Graf - Encyclopedia of Electronic Circuits
NB: 7 volumes.

Not exactly cheap, but another vote for ELEKTOR magazine
https://www.elektormagazine.com/magazine

They offer DVDs of their back issues.

I like Nuts and Volts and I used to subscribe to Everyday Practical Electronics
http://www.nutsvolts.com/

There is a fallacy in recommending a magazine as 'best' without knowing the topics of interest.

CQ Magazine might be 'best' in terms of Amateur Radio
http://www.cq-amateur-radio.com/

Probably better to spend time on Google with specific interests.

My interests run toward analog computing and I don't think I'll find a magazine.
