Bidirectional current sense IC

1. I need to select bidrectional current sense to be used as ammeter.
2. Going through some of voltage output IC , to be operated at 3.3V.
3. Since it is ammeter it can high side or low sense or between two loads.
4. Only problem I have found that IC have miminum CMR, e.g 4V. So I need to have minimum voltage of source to measure current. E.g if I have 1V source & load is 100ohm, I won't be able to measure current through it.
5. Best I can found is LMP8601 from TI.
6. Any suggestions on that.

Diodes Inc (formally Zetex) do a range of current sensor devices, I don't know the particular but maybe it's worth a look?
