Biginner, Hello, Bose 1801
« on: July 22, 2016, 03:33:26 pm »
Hello everyone. I looked around on the site for help on previous posts. I've looked on eBay, Craig list and I'm really out of my league here. I'm searching for replacement front knobs for my Bose 1801. I have looked off and on randomly for a few years with no luck. I'm really impressed with the knowledge here, again I'm out of my league. I was a Certified welder in a large Industrial complex for 36 years, now retired. Mostly x-ray welds, but I feel intimidated ... If anyone knows where a fella can can find such an itwm I could sure use some direction... thanks Rez

Do you need the front knobs to look identical to the original, genuine one, or do you just need something functional?
You might try contacting this seller to see if he has any he can ship you: http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/282080028386

I saw this add, one of many actually.  I was on there again, looking this morning. Thank you, I will see. They dont need to be perfect. I have knobs that are not original on it now. I have some vintage high power equipment. However I am going to have to put some on Craigslist. The 1801 just looks cheezie with brown knobs on it...lol  Thank you...

There are also lots of knobs on eBay that might look similar to what you're looking for:

Though you'll have to check the dimensions.
