Hi,
You probably already know this but you might have some other or better
ideas as well.
One annoying thing is when you have a working circuit on a breadboard
and you need to transfer it to a veroboard for permanent soldering.
You might make mistakes in the new layout/wiring, and then spend a lot
of time debugging your otherwise perfectly working circuit. ..
Well, I've found an online store that sells various veroboards but it also sells
some in the same pinouts as most breadboards. Its
http://www.veroboard.com/and here is a sample board. Its the
VeroBread...
840 Point Breadboard Epoxy FiberThe idea is that you line up the Verobread on top of your breadboard,
hold it in place with some pins at the four corners, build your test circuit
and when everything is working, you pull out the Verobread with all
components attached in the correct positions ready to be soldered.
Ok, I haven't tried it yet and I not aware of its limitations, but you get the idea.
Maybe the IC's might not have long enough pins to reach the breadboard,
but an IC socket might. I will give it a go.
Has anybody tried that or a similar way? Any experience with that company?
Does anybody know if there are other stores as well that sell similar boards ?
Thanks.
