Hello

Is there much difference between the Brymen 235 and the Brymen 820-A?

Thanks

There is no BM820 that I know of. There is an 820 series.

I assume you're referring to the Greenlee DM-820A, which I believe is just a rebranded Brymen 869. You can compare the 235 and 869 side by side on www.tme.eu

That is correct. Thank you.

In that case the DM820-A is actually a Brymen BM827S. Over the BM235 you get a bar graph, 10,000 count dual display, CATIV/1000V, Crest(very fast peak detection), higher accuracy, and probably some other minor things I am missing. What you get with the BM235 is a smaller more convenient size and lower price.
