Capacitor swap
« on: December 15, 2018, 11:02:54 am »
Hi,

I am trying to fix a bad Samsung LCD power supply (running on AC 230V mains).

If I swap the bad 100uF 450V cap with a 100uF 400V I have at hand, it should be ok. Right?

The peak AC voltage should not exceed 325V +/- 15V.

Thanks!

It should be ok just to test with. To see if that's the problem or not.
But once you fix it permanently i would replace with 450V
