cheap smt breakout boards

I need to stock up on SMT to DIP breakout boards, cheaply. It's hard to find breakout boards for MSOP,SOT23,SC-70 and other small footprints for less than $1 per adapter. Does anyone know of a good source, or a good pcb manufacturer that would let me crank out perforated or v-scored sheets of breakout boards on the cheap side (<$1/adapter).

Some time ago I had the very same problem, so I chose to have the adapters made.

If you have time and can wait for several weeks, I can recommend MakePCB.com
I got about 200 MSOP10/TSSOP8 to dip adapters for about 80$ including shipping. They also did the panelizing for me and the boards were v-scored. Quality is good. Double sided silk screen and gold plating and everything ;-)

Futurlec has a variety of SMD breakouts for decent prices. Shipping is slow, however.

What about making a PCB panel full of assorted SMD footprints to DIP footprints. You would just have to send the gerbers to a PCB fab and you're good to go. THAT's open source hardware put into good use.
