Circuits with certain parts
« on: March 18, 2014, 02:48:19 pm »
So i have:
-potentiometers, range of resistors
-0,7V drop diodes
-low voltage PNP and NPN transistors
-Wide range of electrolytic and ceramic capacitors
-Wide range of LED's
-7 ohm speakers and an old phone 200 ohm speaker
-"budget" inductors
-DC power supply for up to 12V
-NO chips/microcontrollers
-NO AC power supply :-\
-Multimeters and sottering eqpt

The farthest i've got is a buzzer oscilator, i was wondering if i could do something a bit more complex than that, thx for all the suggestions  ;D

You can do an Audio amplifier with LEDs as a bar graph display for beats, etc ..

You can use a couple of  npn transistors and a bunch of leds  to make the leds flicker/light up on music beat

With a bit of effort you can make some AM (or even FM) radios using those transistors, just google for "transistor am radio" and you'll find various schematics, or look up youtube for the same phrase.  You'll need some adjustable capacitors for them but they aren't hard to find (or make)
