Class D FET amp component function question
« on: February 02, 2017, 11:10:00 pm »
In the attached schematic what is the function of C1 and C2 and their two 15k associated resistors please. Do the add "dead time" by acting as a RC constant in the signal path to the FET driver chip? The amp is fed with a X2 signal of 472kHz and outputs 136kHz.

Secondly, in the second schematic of a commercial FET RF  (I think...) amp gate driver protection circuit, could someone very briefly tell me the function of all the components associated ith driving the gate and how they protect it please?

Thanks
Best regards,
