Clocking ADC
« on: August 02, 2016, 04:21:51 am »
Hello, I have a 12.8MHz ref that I would like to use to clock an 8-bit adc (AD9057BRSZ-80) at approximately 70MHz. My current idea is to use a ON Semi NB3N3020 (Datasheet attached). Is this an effective way of generating a clock for the adc? I believe that the 5ps rms jitter is not great, but acceptable for my planned 70MHz clock.

This is my first time using a moderately high speed adc, so I'd like any tips and/or traps for young players.
