connectors on a reclaimed BLDC
« on: June 07, 2018, 05:31:38 am »
So I scored this motor from an old garbage picked printer and I think it might work well for my paint can shaker-upper I am making however I am having trouble deciphering the pin out abbreviations and finding information about how to actually make use of this thing. the list goes as follows - I would like to use this but googling hasn't helped, I get tons of stuff for RC and using old CD-ROM motors in an Arduino but nothing for something like this, it's got a 44pin IC on it with no markings - if I knew what that was I could probably figure more out but all I have to go on is the pin labeling. Hopefully someone with some experience with motors like this could clue me in on how I might go about making use of it. I have included some images but let me know if I need to provide more information.

1: 24v
2: 24v
3: GND
4: GND
5: SGND (not sure what that means or what is does)
6: 5V
7: ST/SP (Again - what is this an abbreviation for)
8: RD (same - no idea)
9: CLK (I assume this stands for clock and this somehow needs a clk signal - not sure)
10: GAIN (not sure what that means / is needed for either)

Thanks!
