COS6100M & Tenma 72-760
« on: October 07, 2017, 03:04:30 pm »
Figured this question is to basic for the test equipment forum but if Im wrong please move.

Does anyone have info and/or experience with these scopes? I found both on the CL next city over (about 2 hrs). The COS6100M is five channel 100mhz and the 72-760 is 60mhz. They are asking $100 and $75 respectively.

The Kikusui COS6100M is a great analog scope, and pretty easy to work on.  Sometimes it can be hard to find parts.  That price is a little high unless it's in extra good condition.  Most of these scopes are ex-military, so you see some that are really beat up.

The Tenma might be OK too, but I would avoid it, since there's no service manual available.
