Daisy Chain Solar Garden Lights

Hi all,

I have 2 sets of solar powered fairy string lights which I would like to wiring together into one unit.

Each strand has a solar unit with a rechargable battery, pretty standard garden light engineering.

Is it as simple as soldering the two solar panels in series to combine and power the strips as one?

That would really depend on how its all wired. I'm doubtful it would be as simple as you describe.

what would be the goal in connecting them together anyway?
