pinout looks like a dual opamp.
Z is probably not part of the part number

An op amp is probably right as it's connected to an headphone output. I've tried searching for only 446 but no luck there as well.

Can the 9521 be a date code?

Cheers

This was tricky one.

952i  == TS952ID

I thought that was the date code.

It is not a very good operational amplifier based on the datasheet but I guess suitable for audio.  Hopefully they were cheap.

“Life augmented”?? At first glance their home page looks more like a front for a company manufacturing air fresheners or feminine hygiene products  :-//
Rather pretty girly whirly though........

Yeah, I'm pretty chocked that this is what's drives the headphones on a "professional" 500 euro sound card... (http://www.motu.com/products/motuaudio/ultralite-mk3)
