And just to add my 2 cents to the TED video; not seldom all you need are relative measurements, where accuracy is not important but precision is.

That graph shows clearly the difference between accuracy and precision.
Another quantity often confused with them is resolution, which could be indicated by replacing the continuous bell curve with points that lie on it to indicate the least increment that can be resolved.
