Differential probe for HANTEK oscilloscope
« on: November 15, 2016, 09:45:19 am »
Hey guys,
Can anyone recommend a differential probe for Hantek scope ( DSO5202B )  -  I am not sure if a diff. probe can be used with different scopes or a probe can be used ONLY  with a particular scope. Does anyone know?

It rather depends on the signals you want to examine. State the context of your problem, not just your presupposed solution.

There is just a little bit of difference between looking at a 500V AC signal where neither side is earth referenced, vs looking at a 1V LVDS signal between two ICs.
There are lies, damned lies, statistics - and ADC/DAC specs.
Glider pilot's aphorism: "there is no substitute for span". Retort: "There is a substitute: skill+imagination. But you can buy span".

Pintek DP-25 is about the cheapest new option, can be used on any 1M \$\Omega\$ BNC input scope.
