Diptrace and Pin Swapping
« on: May 11, 2018, 08:56:52 pm »
I am building a little keypad and wanted to clean up the layout a bit by rearranging the pins on the header. Instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, I assigned the pads as 1, 4, 3, 5, 2. When I update the layout, I get 1, 5, 3, 2, 4, however.

Would I be OK to just ignore what Diptrace is telling me? I am already pretty much ignoring the ratlines as Diptrace does not seem to recognize the internally connected pins on the buttons. Or, is there something else I should be doing?

Mark this as stupid question #1, for me, on this forum.  :D
