Diy transistor curve tracer?

Hello guys,

Just saw a really cool video about the Octopus Curve Tracer by w2aew, and was just wondering if its possible to make a DIY transistor curve tracer to plug into my oscilloscope for matching up JFET's for audio phaser projects?

Had a look on google, but just found lots of VERY expensive bits of kit.

Elektor had a design that has been adapted and sold out of Thailand. I bought a few and they work well. I have the original Elektor article as well.

At that price Id be a fool not to grab one........now iv just got to learn how to use a transistor curve tracer!
