I am looking to building a voltage reference to check the calibration of my multi meters.. I am not sure what voltage but I was thinking of using a single voltage and using a calibrated chip since I don't have a high count meter.. My best meter is a series II Fluke 87.. I was think about using a 9v battery as the supply or use a lipo or wallwart.. Do you guys have any suggestions or ideas or built something similar
Thanks

There are actually a lot of threads on this subject, both for 'average' meter calibration and for higher precision. I suggest a forum search for 'voltage reference'.
