Driving Darlington Transistor array from Shift Register
« on: September 12, 2013, 03:43:01 am »
Hi all,

I don't have the chips yet to test this but I would like to know if a shift register can be used as the input to a Darlington Transistor array like the UNL2803A?

Thanks

A very common combination is the 74HC595 shift register and ULN2803A driver.

Thanks for the response.   :-+

I have some 74HC595 chips on the way.  I will grab a couple of ULN2803A drivers and test  :-/O this out.
