Eagle library with basic components
«

Anybody have or know where I can find a component library for Eagle with basic components? The libraries it comes with are less than useful. I just need resistors, caps, voltage source, ground, etc.

rcl.lbr or resistor.lbr. Both included with Eagle.

Thanks. Not quite what I'm looking for though. I think it's just a limitation of eagle.

Sparkfun has a descent library, though in all reality you are best just making your own components, how much can you really trust someone else to get it right? I don't.

Sounds like you'd be interested in seeed's Open Parts Library: a bunch of common SMT parts, both in a kit and an Eagle library:

You might find this post useful too:

That awful add dialog is overwhelming at first but you get used to it pretty quick.
