Function generator what is deemed good?
« on: February 03, 2015, 12:36:32 pm »
I'm looking around at different Function generators and well I don't really know what I should be looking at, I'm looking for something decent for audio and testing filters and low noise power supplies. I'm also trying to save as much money as I can since I'm a poor man indeed.

saw this on E-bay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2MHz-Dual-Channel-DDS-Function-Signal-Generator-Sine-Square-Wave-Sweep-Counter-/171382538522?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27e732011a

But I guess it's a cheapo "stay away" product or have someone tested it and found it decent?

There are some threads on the subject, but the search engine here is not so good (can't find a way to look at all threads created by a user?).

Found this thread:

Definitely get advice as there are some junk out there.
I ended up getting a used Fluke from Ebay.
