garden lighting standard or system?
« on: May 08, 2018, 07:57:23 pm »
Hi,

Is there a go-to garden lighting standard or system? I'm thinking something like a 24V ring around the garden and some kind of IP66 low voltage sockets to plug garden lights into?

Alan

p.s. I can see stuff like this:

- but I was hoping for some kind of wall-mounted socket.

I got some run on 12VAC, the bulbs are standard push in maybe 2-3W each, only thing I can add is streets ahead of any solar system and robust but the plastic parts break after a few years/decades I guess from UV. Nothing hot-melt cant fix :)
