Well it is the most well written explanation of what you must have in mind ,
when you think about getting a new DMM.

The selection of a new DMM , its an very complex process, for beginners and professionals.   
I found lots of help by reading the above.
That's why I am  suggesting to read it too.

Theoretically , some one should make a list of the " candidates " who offers the most needed functions to him.
And them , he explores the others factors , like  pricing & reviews.

In all my life I was avoiding to become Brand loyal ,
this helped me allot in time , and now I own few, but really worthy tools.
