Good quality test hooks for LA
«

I just bought a LA which comes with a few 1 cent poor quality test hooks, so I would buy a new good quality set.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

I would recommend these
http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/teledyne-lecroy/PK400-3/PK400-3-ND/2796194
for probing down to .2mm
However if you don't want to spend more on the probes than you did on the LA the best option I found is:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/291782132186
-- Wide opening, low resistance(not that you should care for logic), thin shaft, and perhaps most importantly strong metal so it won't become useless after a few uses. You probably won't find better for less than 5x the price
This also is worth considering:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/272155619895
They are rebranded E-Z Hooks(
http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/e-z-hook/XKMGRY/461-1011-ND/528232
) , they have lower quality plastic & softer, lower quality metal
This model is quite bad, stay away,

PS: These TPI Nano-Pincers seem decent for the price, anyone have experience with them:

The standard Tek grabbers work fine down to SOIC but struggle to be fine/small enough for finer pitch SMD IC's.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tektronix-TEK-SMT-KlipChip-Adapter-Mini-Test-Grabber-40V-206-0364-01-/191815713568?hash=item2ca91b8320:g:KuoAAOSwPc9W04fL
They have 0.025" pins for cable connection and these can be sourced from the likes of Digikey.

Watch for cheap surplus HP/Agilent hooks appearing on ebay. Few years ago got pack of 20 Agilent branded for around $16 IIRC. If you compare, most of the cheap micrograbbers have cloned outer look.
