Hakko Fr-810B

Hi all. I hope someone can help. I have just purchased a Hakko FR-810B Hot air station and am trying to set it up with pre-set temps. I have currently set it up so it starts in pre-set mode. I have set P1 to P5 with different temps and air flow. The thing I am getting confused with is that when I turn it on it shows P5 I can push the start button and it goes to the temp P5 it is programmed to. But I can’t start it on P1 or any of the others except P5. Do I have to move the pre-set selection P1 to P5 or am I missing something. I would have thought when I turned it on I could use the up and down buttons to select between P1 and P5 and then just push start.

Have you read the manual? You press the up button to move between presets, as long as they are enabled (parameter 11).

Thanks for your reply. Yes I have read the manual and parameter 11 is set to 1. When I turn it on it goes to P5 if I push the up button it goes to P1 and then flashes P1 /100 /---/ then goes back to P5.
