You end up paying more if buying from ebay, as the cost of this is factored in.

I've bought loads of things from aliexpress. So far everything has exceeded my expectations, mainly becasue I set them so low.

We've all done it before.  Been sucked in by the cheapest.

Contacted the support service and like a sick parrot they were repeating to wait until the seller sends the goods and open a dispute. That is a bit insane, isn't it? After 60 days the company will vanish and so will my 100$ I spent on a variable current/voltage source.
They won't vanish because they don't get your money until you confirm order received or protection period ends. Aliexpress holds money until then. Be careful to not miss that period. But frankly, you should have read the processing time. Did you request order cancellation? there was button somewhere. You also wrote that you contacted the support but nothing about contacting the seller.

this is the item (seller name is "le zhon"):
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/ATTEN-APS3005S-30V-5A-Variable-Regulated-DC-Power-Supply-Single-Output-90w/1785537620.html

Hmm, how should I express this? Ok,what about this: Always look on the bright side of life. You will be grateful for every day you don't have to use an ATTEN product  ;)

This is the same price. I have one and it's pretty good. Don't know where you are but maybe an option if you can cancel your order.

It's possible that they build the units to order, it wouldn't surprise me. For what you are looking for I would personally recommend this one: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/32V-5A-Small-Volume-adjustable-DC-Power-Supply/1454769964.html

Aliexpress do have good support, you just have to know the details of your order first.

can imagine that the post here helped, the seller accepted after the 3rd request to cancel the transaction.

bought instead: MLINK KPS3030DA (30Amps instead of 5A) for 150 Euros + shipping. Seems to be a rebranded ATTEN KPS3030DA. I think is a good price, please tell me your opinion

Why do you ask for opinions AFTER you bought that thing? Don't you think it would be a bit more clever to first ask, then buy?
