Hi forum I am having a little problem with my Rigol ds1104Z
« on: December 17, 2015, 11:35:05 pm »

I am sampling the  voltage from a signal generator in CH1
and the voltave  over a resistor (10k)  in CH2

there is nothing else in this circuit
the scope shows the waves as if there is a phase shift !

what is the problem ?

thank you

Once I spent more than one hour trying to find out why my scope would not give me the trace that I was expecting, instead was giving me this noise and I could see the 60Hz background noise. I pushed buttons, check my source, click the "auto set" several times. I was about to give up when.... ta ta ta taaaam  :-\ The probe that I was using to probe the circuit was not connected to the scope, I had grabbed a spare probe!! |O
